CMYKForge does not currently offer a complete public customer-account or payment system. If commercial account functionality is introduced, CMYKForge may collect or process account details, verification status, purchase and subscription records, product entitlements, download history, software-license status, limited device-activation information, and customer-support history.
This policy will be updated before or when those systems become publicly available. Payment-card information should be entered directly through an approved payment provider, such as Stripe. CMYKForge does not intend to store complete payment-card numbers or security codes on its own servers.

CMYKForge will not use personal information for an unrelated purpose without appropriate notice or consent where required.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, CMYKForge may process personal information based on consent, performance of a contract, legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations, or protection of legal rights and prevention of misuse. You may withdraw consent for optional marketing communications at any time.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
CMYKForge’s current site code does not set first-party cookies or use browser local storage or session storage. Service providers and embedded content may use cookies or similar technologies for essential delivery, security, preferences, subscription processing, performance, or media functionality.
CMYKForge does not describe analytics or tracking as anonymous unless the implementation has been verified to meet that description. If nonessential tracking is introduced, an appropriate consent choice will be provided where legally required.
6. Analytics
CMYKForge does not currently run Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, a site-owned analytics script, or a tracking pixel on this website. The hosting provider may process technical request, performance, security, or aggregate usage information as part of operating the service. This policy will be updated if CMYKForge adds a separate analytics service.
7. Email Communications
CMYKForge uses Brevo to manage subscriptions and send product-development updates, Kickstarter updates, beta announcements, launch information, and important changes to requested services. You can unsubscribe from promotional email using the unsubscribe link in the message.
CMYKForge may send essential transactional or account-related messages in the future when necessary to provide a requested service.
8. Embedded Content and External Links
The website includes or may include content and links from third-party services such as YouTube, Kickstarter, Brevo, GitHub, and social-media platforms. The current YouTube player uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain. When you interact with embedded content or follow an external link, the third party may collect information under its own privacy policy.
CMYKForge does not control the independent privacy practices of external websites and services.
9. How Information May Be Shared
CMYKForge may share limited personal information with service providers that help with website hosting, email delivery, form processing, security, diagnostics, and professional legal, accounting, or technical support. Future providers may support authentication, payments, file storage, and downloads. Providers should receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform their role.
CMYKForge may also disclose information when legally required, to respond to valid legal process, to investigate fraud or security threats, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a future business reorganization or asset transfer subject to appropriate protections.
CMYKForge does not currently sell personal information for money or use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If these practices change, this policy and any legally required controls will be updated before the change occurs.
10. International Processing
Some service providers may process information in the United States or other countries where privacy laws differ. Where required, CMYKForge and its providers should use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.
11. Data Retention
CMYKForge retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide requested communications or services, maintain unsubscribe and consent records, respond to support issues, meet legal, tax, accounting, security, and fraud-prevention obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Newsletter information may remain stored until you unsubscribe or request deletion, except where a limited suppression record is needed to ensure you are not subscribed again without permission. Future transaction records may need to be retained longer for legal, tax, accounting, refund, and fraud-prevention purposes. Specific retention periods will be documented when account and commercial systems are implemented.
12. Data Security
CMYKForge uses or plans to use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information involved. However, no website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Do not send passwords, payment information, confidential files, or sensitive personal information through ordinary email or general website forms.
13. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy of personal information; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; opt out of marketing; appeal certain decisions; or complain to an applicable data-protection authority. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions.
To submit a privacy request, email admin@cmykforge.org. CMYKForge may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
14. United States State Privacy Disclosures
Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional privacy rights depending on applicable law. CMYKForge does not currently sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising as those terms may be defined by applicable state laws. If future practices require an opt-out mechanism, an appropriate “Your Privacy Choices” control will be added.
15. Children’s Privacy
CMYKForge is intended for a general audience interested in 3D printing, design, software, and related technology. It is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 should not submit personal information through the website.
If CMYKForge learns that personal information was collected from a child under 13 without legally required parental consent, it will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian may contact admin@cmykforge.org. Minimum account-age requirements will be documented before account registration becomes available.
16. Future Desktop Application Privacy
The CMYKForge desktop application is intended to support local and privacy-respecting workflows. Core image and file-generation behavior should remain local where stated by the product.
Before public release, CMYKForge will publish accurate disclosures covering whether images leave the user’s device, optional AI features, crash and diagnostic reporting, update checks, license validation, device activation, cloud features, user-controlled sharing, locally stored data, and data transmitted to CMYKForge or third parties. No feature will be described as fully local or fully private unless its implementation has been verified.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
CMYKForge may update this Privacy Policy as the website, application, legal requirements, and service providers change. The revised date will be shown at the top. For material changes, CMYKForge may provide additional notice through the website, email, or a future account interface when appropriate.
